The Department of Health and Human Services’ Office for Civil Rights (OCR) has announced its 7th HIPAA enforcement action under its HIPAA risk analysis Guam Memorial Hospital Authority has settled an alleged HIPAA risk analysis violation with the HHS’ Office for Civil Rights for $25,000 and has agreed to implement a comprehensive corrective action plan to address multiple areas of potential noncompliance with the HIPAA Rules.
